The Tectum Corporation of Columbus, Ohio, opened a plant in Arkadelphia, Clark County, Arkansas, on January 14, 1958. The plant manufactures building materials made of wood fiber and chemicals, used for roof decking and sidewall paneling in the construction of factories, schools, homes, and public buildings.
